I was told earlier this week from Socal Mitsu that they would be arriving in April. Others have spread rumors of being delayed till July but no official word to back it up. Keep your fingers crossed for April!

My dealer (Dave Sarmadi Mitsubishi) told me in a few weeks. Still not sure on how long there version of a few weeks is and considering they are on the east coast is a huge factor in deliver but more time to save money and possibly sell my car

MR delivery

We got our allocation notice last week saying that the first shipment will arrive in the US May 15th which mean we probably wont see them until June or July.

I heard the delay is because Mitsubishi can't make enough to satisfy demand. SST tranny Evo X are going to the rest of Asia first before coming to N.A. Which honestly, makes more sense then freaken ECU problems.

Just went to my dealer today to find out when mine was coming in and, GOOD NEWS, it's supposed to be in the port of Vancouver since yesterday. As soon as it clears customs, he will call me to give me my VIN. So as soon as there is a VIN, the car is cleared and on is way to the dealer...

Since I'm in montreal, it should be 2-3 weeks, so beginning of April seems right. I will tell you guys as soon as I get the VIN (He said tomorrow or wednesday...)

People in the GVA, please keep us informed as you should see them arrive at the dealers soon!

Pressure him for the VIN. It means nothing if he can't provide the VIN. AT THE PORT OF VANCOUVER? I maybe I will go check it out to see if there are any Evo at the Richmond port

My friend works at the dock where the cars are unloaded off the ships and has not seen any MR's yet.

Thanks Spikey for the infos from your friend... I'm getting tired of being lied to by the dealer! I went 3 times and they said it will come anyday now... I'm seriously thinking of cancelling my order and buying something else. I'm driving a Saab 9.3 Sport Combi Aero for the week and it's quite impressive! Luxurious, poweful, spacious and the same price as the X! Plus it has AWD... Mitsu, step up to the plate or you will loose sales.

I know hardcore Evo fans are going to laugh at the comparison with the Saab (or with a lot of other similarly priced cars), but let's face it, up here in Canada, the Evo is so overpriced that it's tempting to look at more luxurious cars for the same price...

Anyways, Spikey, you're the man to tell us when the MR's are going to get to Canada! Keep in touch.

Yeah, in case you didn't know, ALL Evos are AWD (always have been)...and believe me your Saab can't out handle, our out accelerate an Evo X. Patience is a virtue

I know Evos are AWD, this was just to say that the Saab as it too! And I totally know about the differences between the 2 cars... just finding it hard to lay down 55k for an Evo, no matter how fantastic it is. I've been waiting 10 years for it to come to canada (since about Evo V...), so I know patience is a virtue!
