I'm starting my mod project this spring but a question:

1. With a stock turbo and stock fmic, on an X-MR, how many whp can I support? I'm looking to get around 400whp.

I know of a guy that is around 400whp on his MR (340wtq) but he has an FP Green turbo. I know it's not your question, but thought I'd throw it out there since the #s were similar.

 

300-320 on stock turbo / intercooler

 

E85.

 

the issue with E85 for me is that my evo is my dd and there really arent any E85 stations anywhere near where i live =(. How much could I expect it to improve with E85?

 

Do a search on the Dyno forums I think. Cobb did one of their personal MR's and it hit 400 ft/lb of torque. Not sure what mods they had, but I don't think is was much past intake, exhaust, and fuel mods to support E85. I think it was Christians car, but I can't recall.
