SST pressure data
I've been doing a ton of logging the last couple months and I wanted to share one of the interesting findings.
It's looking like the pressure provided to the two clutches increases with engine load. Obviously this makes sense but it's cool to actually see the data. Also this means that there is most likely a load look up in relation to how much pressure is commanded from the Ecu/Tcu.
Here is data from a 2010 MR in 3rd gear. As you can see, clutch pressure increases with increased load and follows the actual load curve pretty close. Pretty straight forward.

Here is data from a 2010 Ralliart in 3rd gear. This RA has a CBRD BBX Lite so it holds boost better then a stock Evo X Turbo and of course, the load curve is more flat and doesn't drop like the MR above, thus the clutch pressure stays pretty constant compared.
However, also notice that the clutch pressure at peak torque is 156 psi compared to 182 psi on the MR plot above. The engine load are both pretty much the same at 26X load. More about this in the next data chunk...

Now, here is data from a Ralliart using SPORT mode and a MR using S-SPORT mode. As most of you know, the Ralliart does not have S-SPORT like the MR.
Both 3rd gear data. Notice the Ralliart in SPORT (blue plots) is running slightly more engine load then the MR in S-SPORT (red plots) but the MR has more clutch pressure being applied.
So do the SST modes translate to increased/decreased clutch pressure? That's next.

very intersting. keep up the good work. how is your car doing now did you get the whole shifting glitch figured out? i am going to be putting an fp green on my car in a month so just wondering how your car is doing. do you think i will be able to hit 360 awhp with an fp green on 93 oct?

I threw my RA Sportback on the dyno this weekend to make sure everything was running ok. You can see the post here.
I also logged some slip now, not sure if it's because it's past 320wtq on the Mustang or the clutches are getting worn or I just need more clutch pressure applied. I'm sure I need more clutch pressure at this power level. I really wish the Ralliart's came with the option for S-Sport so the clutch pressures would be higher.
