If they took apart/open the tranny to check the clutches there is a seal that if install improperly causes the tranny to not function at all, it will not engaged any gear. Besides that, they would have to check all components, censors, lines and filter to find out the problem. Good luck!

 

Hey guys sorry for the lack of update, so after checking all the components, they decided to swap the ECU. The car finally worked. The mechanic told me there was a problem with my ETACS

Did they explain to you what the issue was with the ETACS? My 2013 MR 18k miles (no aftermarket parts) is also having this issue randomly when i get in the car Drive, Reverse or any other gear will not engage then if i hold the throttle down to 1500rpm the gear will JERK into gear and be fine i have taken it too 2 local dealers and they both have said they were unable to duplicate the issue and were unwilling to investigate further until they can duplicate the issue. They said to keep driving it until the issue becomes common?!?!? WTF !>!>! they will not even check the transmission fluid
