So last sunday, I fire up the car, and I get a Transmission required light flashing on my display. Go to the dealership this morning, and the transmission is spitting out a P1874 Clutch 2 (Pressure abnormal) code. The Dealer said that I have to replace my entire transmission at a cost of 13k ( **** THAT)


Some details on the car: 2008 EVO X MR with 61700 miles on it, never tracked, drive only on the weekends, drive spiritedly sometimes, and less than 10 launch-control launches since I owned it (bought the car used April of last year with 45k miles on it)
Mods are an ETS intake and Down pipe and a Cobb Protune.

Do you guys have any idea what can be causing this? the car drives perfectly fine in manual mode, but it's starting to get a little weird in auto mode (slippage and general unresponsiveness)

Please help!

 

I would ask Jeremy@SSP (that's their forum username) they are the resident SST experts, and can probably get you a tranny for less than that if that's what you really need.
