SST 2011 Mr missing gears 2/4/6
Hello everyone, I have researched and noticed this problem with a few other evos on here. I had auto zone pull the codes and I didn't find anyone with the same codes as mine. The codes are the following P184B, internal mode switch 2 s circuit high voltage, the second code is P181E, internal mode switch 2 r2 low voltage.

Get this my warranty just expired 2 weeks ago. My question is do they codes warrant a transmission rebuild? I have an appointment Monday with the dealership/stealership.

I am located in Colorado and jacks transmission is not to far from me. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with them? It looks like Kozmic would be the top rated place to send it to, but since I could just trailer my car to Jacks.

I would try to get the dealer to do a good will warranty job. 2 weeks out of warranty is pretty close, especially if you're under mileage.


The codes are an issue in the mechatronic unit, likely some of the solenoids.

Especially if your mid free, dealer might do you that favor. Worth a shot to ask
