Shift Knobs

Don't H8, but i want an aluminium manual shift knob (with shift pattern) to replace the baseball. As theft deterence (really - manual cars are too hard for miscreants to joy-ride ) and because of our unique (for an auto) shift boot/console style I believe it would look cool...

I see that the GSR knob 'only fits manual cars'...

So...
1) Can a GSR manual knob fit? Adapter? Is the reverse lock out ring an issue?
2) Does any Aftermarket kob fit (what thread size and pitch do i need)?
3) Does Perrin replacement 'improved' shifter assy give me more options for the knob i want?

Thanks!

There was a kid that did an entire redesign of the shifter setup. To make it look like a gsr. It looked amazing.. I'll try and find the photo. He blew up his 4b11 and then sold it. Either way his evox had some great interior ideas

I'd actually be interested in seeing this as well. Simply because it could make the shifter more minimalistic and sleek. I might look into doing a version myself.

Evo x shift knob thread size should be M10 x 1.25.

I personally got the red Ralliart knob (too "ricey" for some I know lol) and it fits perfectly fine in the MR with the reverse ring still operable.

I am looking for a **** lever extension so I can use the lever instead of the paddles. I bought one on ebay but the threading was wrong.

I relocated my seat switches to the panel next to the oem switch, then put another 12v outlet where they used to be.

This is my current setup: Colt Speed GT Shift, Top Secret Japan shift knob, MoMo shift boot, and all the custom carbon/switch plates is done by me

BPAuto (vendor on here) should be able to get it for you. JapanParts.com or RHDJapan.com would be another option.

**Edit

Never mind, if I'd of actually read that correctly I'd of read where you moved your heated seat controls.

I was just about to have a fit if you had a IC sprayer or something stock on the car. haha

Moddiction anvil mini

Knob feels about the same diameter as the oem knob.... Ive got it as low as it will possibly go on the shifter and the reverse lockout works just fine

they offer the shift pattern on their original anvil (which is slightly bigger than the mini) if you wish
