Car and steering wheel shaking while parked

Ok I have a 2013 Evo x MR with SST 18k miles Bone Stock no upgrades.

I was pulling into my garage today and I had to turn a little bit to straighten the car up. After coming to a complete stop I turned the steering wheel to straighten out the wheels the car shook in the engine bay all the way through the steering wheel and the RPMS dropped from about 1k to about 700rpms. So I moved there steering wheel back and fourth a few times and it continued to do the same thing. The Car did it in park drive and reverse. So I reversed the car out slowly and moved the steering wheel it still shook but it was not as bad. So I moved the car at a normal back out speed and no shaking. Same result when pulling forward. I checked brake fluid, power steering all levels are good.
Any Thoughts?

I think it happens because when you turn your steering wheel left or right, the power steering activates, which is connected to the drive belt. Its Just like when turning your a/c on and the condenser kicks on. Unexpected additional load. The engine can't compensate fast enough that the rpm drops to really low thus shaking the car.

As irwin said, turning the wheels causes extra load on the engine, making rpm drop temporarily. What you experienced sounds normal.
