Hmm..

I'm getting ready to get some 'monitoring' equipment.

Is this the optimal location?

From my research it seems to me that you can get some spurious readings if you put it in certains places, i.e. read high/low etc...

From what Ive read, there seem to be about 100 different opinions on where it should go. I think one of the most popular locations is in the 2nd runner, close to the block. That's actually where I wanted mine because you can keep the heatshield in place and the probe sticks up between the shield and the block.

I didnt communicate that effectively enough to my mechanic so he stuck it right in the middle of the collector.
