A Rally Question

When i watch WRC rallies, i notice that when the racers race at night, their car's inside of the wheel glow bright orange (the part where the brakes clamp onto)

Does anyone why that happens?

I think its cool to. I wish my car had good enough performance to do that. Ricers sometimes attach little lights to their rims or whatnot so that when Their wheels spin it looks like their brakes are glowing like a race car's. I dunno, if you think the effect is cool enough, I guess you could do that. But you'd sort of get made fun of...

It is not so much the car's performance. It is the driver. Drive something hard enough for long enough and brakes can glow redhot. Don't try on your street car though you'll probably melt the seals out of the caliper. Race brakes or at least carbon/kevlar pads can take the heat.

Just shoot flames out your exhaust, it's way more fun and takes less effort to do so.

I know one guy who actually put some kind of burner under his car and linked it to his exhaust. He was actually shooting flames but he was so stupid that he burned a couple people.
Is this rice or what?
