Nurburgring Part II

Well this past Sunday me and a couple of buddies headed down to the Ring. For me this will be the my second time and a first for a couple others that went with us.

Last time I went to the Ring I was going for more of the "Ring" experience and less of the drive. This time with a few changes in my car, couple of hours of GT4, and a little more confidence, I went out to take down the Ring.

First off let me say the GT4 may look like the Ring but it doesnt help too much. I drove the Evo the hardest that I've ever taken her. More less my driver skills. Rebedding that pads actually works. Before I was having major problems with my brakes and now 120-30mph with no problems and no fade.

I made two runs and my second one was my best one. I only got pased by 3 cars and passed a 3000GT a Porsche(a big deal to me) and a hand full of BMWs. But it got really good when I caught up to a Z3 Coupe and he made me work for every little bit. Never got around him but it was he best run/race Ive ever had in my Evo.

May not be important to others but just thougt Id share.
Couple of pics

Whaddaya think...should we put a trip togeather? who would be interested? Lets say it would cost $3500-$5000 per person including an M3 or 997 and insurance Don't know about renting an EVO???

You can do it through BMW, it costs 2K Euros for the school plus you have to get yourself to the track (it includes hotel and meals once you are there).

My buddy rented the Benz in the picture. Supercharged and everything. Definitly a quick little thing.

Whose Evo VI--TME is that on the left? I love those things. Nicest car I've ever driven.

I would love to make a trip to the 'Ring, but probably can't go till around the end of summer '06. Hey, Oldschool, did GT4 help at all?? I mean does it help you remember the layout??
