They have been working great for me so far. 2:05 at thunderhill over the top so I'm not slow. I also instruct and have been tracking for over 6 years. I've never used the Hawk HT-14's so I have no idea. I have used Blues before but not on a evo. The MAX900's remind me alot of them but are much easier on the rotors and the Hawk Blue dust is nasty corrosive shiat. I didn't think the MAX900's would be up to the task but they have been working well.

Car is back together now. The stock headstuds stretched and the head was lifting on boost. Pressurized water jacket, puked coolant, overheated. This is the first time my EVO has ever overheated. I've done 100F+ events at buttonwillow and thunderhill with the Evo with no cooling problems.
