Honki, yeah I was there with Sir Lurks Alot. I have a white evo...
I didn't do the HPDE this weekend... just a Hyper Drive on Jefferson Circuit. Tried to sign up, but it was too late for the HPDE. So I was more of the support crew/photographer/graphics designer this time.
It turned out to be a good thing, that I didn't run. My rear tires were in bad shape. I would have either blown a tire, or spun out into the wall... If I had tried.
3volution.org is my site. I haven't really figured out what I want to do with it. So right now.. its more of a image repository. Just bought this Canon Rebel XT.. so this is my first real photoshoot. I'm a photo n00b.
I didn't get to see the IX MR dude.

he said he doesn't brake for 5, but i'm sure he meant 4 and yea i'm sure he wasn't looking ahead through 4 to see the cluster f*ck, as always, into 5.

Are you installing the clutch yourself, or a shop?

Good luck with that shiite. Tomssound and I did mine on our backs in my garage. Took like 14 hours or something. I bet we could do it in 10 the next time We must have done right, cause 24k miles later, it still grabs like a champ. Definitely not one of the more fun installs.

yeahhhhh... I know... not looking forward to it. But I'm excited to have a new flywheel! reward myself for all the hard work. Yo, you shoot me that email yet? Do you have any video of the course? I took one on the parade laps, but I'd like to see it at speed.

The white MR's oil filter split in half and dumped oil. I was not able to find him to ask if it was a OEM filter, new or old, etc...

Can't do the hill climb.

Where can you get the titanium oil filter? After that I plan on having a spare with me at all times... ugh. I am making the minor repairs from Summit Point getting ready for VIR at the end of this month.

1. Replaced the front valance... had to remove the whole bumper for one of 20 million screws that was hidden behind the oil cooler ducting. $260
2. Ordered the Beatrush undertray today, should be here in 3-5 and will be on for VIR North Course with NASA. OEM was torn in half after the off into the gravel pit with Honki in the passenger seat. $310 shipped
3. Picked up Hoosier Grand AM Cup tires at the event w/15 laps on them (scrubbed) for $50/ea T=$200.
4. Trying to pickup a used set of wheels and tires, wheels for the Hoosiers and tires to replace my flatspotted to **** street tires. $unknown
5. Seriously considering a set of Stance coilovers. I find the body roll unnerving. ~$1500
6. My Autopower Race rollbar is finally on the east coast, waiting for it to arrive and install it. Hoping it will be here for VIR.
7. Need a catback at LEAST so I can hear the car on track with a helmet on. $unknown

Having Dan from Mach V snap a pic of you as you limp back to the pits and post it on the internet... priceless

lol..

i was just kidding about the titanium oil filter.. but if someone makes it... I want my cut for the idea

the north course is a lot of fun... imo...
you'll get alot of laps in.. the turn uphill after the bridge is fun.. little hard on the tires.... but fun. good luck
