Goodbye and Thank you to Michael Schumacher

This thread is for goodbye's only, not to discuss F1!

To the greatest driver:

Thank you for all the great racing moments over the past 15 years. When all is said and done, the mark of a great driver is in the legacy one leaves behind in the record books. You have done things that no other driver has acheived or may ever acheive in the sport.

This is a sad day for many fans. I cannot imagine turning on the race in March and not seeing Michael Shumacher on track.

Statistics to come.

Indeed, he has set an incredible benchmark for auto racing in general. I always saw him as the Michael Jordan of F1, but with brass *****.

I agree that he's an excellent driver, and I'll miss watching him race, but calling him the greatest ever is a bit of an exaggeration I think.

I think Senna was better overall and Schumacher wouldn't hold the records he does today if Senna hadn't have tragically died.

Hopefully Schumacher hangs around F1, as a team owner/manager or something, he's got a great presence in the sport! See ya soon Michael (hopefully)!
