Rear differential mod

For the first time (this past race) I used a rear diff modded by Jon @TRE. It now locks up about 35% faster than it did before. While I was new to Road Atlanta and couldnt make a back to back lap time comparison, I was able to feel the difference in rotation entering a turn. The car seemed to push less than before. Below is a list of what he does to it.

Thanks Jon!!
Marty

What you get:

Disassembly of your EVOLUTION rear diff assembly
Hot tank
Magnaflux
New cross shaft
New side sheaves
New friction plates
Inspection of wear contact pattern & adjustment as necessary
New axle seals

Any noticeable difference in corner exit? Does it push more mid to corner exit?

How much did this cost and how long did it take to get the diff back?

interesting... i'm looking for a little more rotation on corner exit. With your lack of camber I can see why your doing this.

Have you T1 guys played with toe out front and rear?

You just pry the old ones off w/ a screw driver and push new ones on w/ a socket of a similar diameter. Be sure the lube up the new seals before pressing them on.
