Redline Time Attack - Buttonwillow Raceway, March 29th-30th
Anyone wonder why Tyler looked so short between me and Dieter?

just finding this thread.
Congrats to Deiter and JC and the others. I had a ton of fun and was bummed not to bet the S2k on the podium, but was happy with the win in the miata. Thanks to Robi and the usual suspects for helping me get the car together.
So what are the other events the socal guys are going to run? Unless I can get on part of a transport, I don't think I'm going to be able to do anything outside of normal driving distances. Even Miller sounds like a long way to go...

Time Attack may be mature enough by 2009 that we could run a central event, forget about spectators, and just do live broadcasts on the Web. We're actually going to start implementing some web based "live" features this year once our new site is launched in May/June....

Jeff Zurschmeide tried to get us in with this year's Rose Cup event at PIR.. but the dudes on the board of directors didn't see the value in adding Time Attack to their schedule. Their loss.
Jeff is working doubly hard on getting us up to PIR in 2009. We just need to turn it into a large Tuner Fest sort of event, with vendors, car show, music and of course, top notch Time Attack racing! :-)
