Thank you Billy for sending this thread into an unrecoverable "flatspin!!!" "Oh sh#t Goose, we just flew through his jetwash!!!! Engine 1 is out! Engine 2 is out"

I do what i can After all this talk of KERS and rear diffuser tech i needed to blow off some anti-MM steam

I think if Hamilton didn't have his dad with him 24/7 people would like him more

Bernie and Max need to be bumped/brushed/removed.

Whats the matter??? I heard it was your boy Anthony Hamilton who wanted him gone... You've got to admit RD is one arrogant guy and can def rub people the wrong way.
I wouldn't mind seeing Ron take Max's job one of these days. I will admit he has done a lot for the sport as a whole along with the McLaren team.

He stepped aside before the season started, if I'm not mistaken. This was a planned departure.

Oh no's... No more KERS for Ferrari...

http://www.planet-f1.com/story/0,189...195559,00.html

Its probably best since they had so many problems with it in Malaysia. At least they'll be working hard on the car to retro fit the new diffuser. Looking for wins after the re-launch!

It is for the best, less fire and less weight. The sad part is that KR was probably the best on track at using the KERS. Bigger news is Kubica having it now.

Wrong... He was still CEO of the team. Whitmarsh was just placed in command of the day-to-day running of the team. This was not planned, it was due to the Liargate scandel.

I just read that article and It was my understanding that the all the teams without the twin diffusor would be having to wait untill the after Shanghai before they could run the new one, just due to lack of time for development. I read or heard this somewhere I just can't put a finger on my source. Normally I would stand with the mindstate that everyone already has had the R&D for the Twin Diffusor even befor the appeal just in case but...

Especially the part when Weber came alongside him on the start/finish striaght and started to pass Alonso. But as soon as the lap reset Alonso hit it and started to pull Webber.

Interesting:

Hamilton & his twin-diffuser take P1

1. Hamilton
2. Button
3. Barichello
4. Kovalainen

He just barely made P1, but it's one hell of a jump to go from a mid pack car straight to the top. All 4 cars sporting Mercedes power plants, too.
