In a letter to FIA member clubs, the 69-year-old Briton said he has actually received 100 messages urging him to stay put, along with 100,000 or more encouraging him to die in a fire.
Fixed.

Speed HD doesn't broadcast F1 in High Def, they merely convert the low def feed to 720p, just like when it was on FOX. In other words it still looks like crap, you aren't missing anything with the standard def broadcast. It is a bit ridiculous that all the other programming on Speed is HD and F1 isn't.

Huh? Everytime I've watch F1 on SpeedHD and FoxHD, the quality is noticably better than Standard Def. I'm pretty sure it's not just an upscaled broadcast.

Picture seems a thousand times better to me, even if it isn't 1080i. Much better than the regular broadcast. Either way I'll take it, its better than it was.

Kimi say's he's hoping for a podium at Hungary. I think KERS should be a good advantage there. Hopefully Ferrari can capitalize.

Watching on the Fox 1080i feed, it looked like a lot of the F1 feed's cameras were 720p, and a few were still 480p. But the bulk of it was 1080.

My Speed low def is ultra compressed, so it looks horrible on anything bigger than a 27" TV. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate Comcrap?

Interesting the SeaBass loses his ride, but guys like Kaz and Piquet keep theirs despite being massively inferior to their teammate.

The difference is that Franz Tost isn't as accepting/forgiving as the other team principals.
If Piquet was at Toro Rosso, he'd be sacked in his first year.

STR's new driver was onhand at the race this weekend. Guy's name is Alguersuari. He's a young Spanish driver. I think the kid is like 19 or something...? I think I heard he's the youngest F1 driver ever. We'll see how talented he is next weekend. Screw Seabass, guy just couldn't get it done. All he did was complain.
