Got the skirts on. Gap is 1.5 inches - should be about right for not always rubbing on small bumps and uneven surfaces.

TirePlast. It's reground tire material and available in large rolls for not much $$$. I have a roll of it for various projects. It's very compliant, I probably could have gone with a much smaller gap, but we'll see how this does.

A little, but I've already done a track day with it in the summer and had zero heat issues. The panels are cool to the touch, even after parking directly after a session. It's a non-issue.

MUCH better than Jeremy Clarkson's particle-board version.

Far less likely to ignite.

I think the end pillars are extended too far from the body line. I'm guessing you had the idea to make them sit flush with the canards above? I would bring them in more cloder to the APR lip. I will try to find an article from RACER magazine that discussed this, and send to you.

Late would be taken by many folks as being dead, not old.
