Proper sub belt mounting?
My Sparco seats arrived and I've got'em ready to install this weekend. From everything I've read (the correct instructions), it looks like the only solution to properly mount my dual (6-point) sub belts is to drill the floor and use a reinforcement plate. If anyone has a solution that keeps the angle to within 20 degrees and avoids drilling, speak now please. I'd like to keep my car such where if I had to put the stock seats back in, pull the harness, pull the cage, etc., I could. I'm not planning on visiting the dealer, but things happen.

I drilled and reinforced. Done. I knew that was the official point of no return. I might have been able to sneak past the darkened calipers back then - which to me is the easy sign of track use.

So you've got a cage and you're still concerned with what a dealer thinks?
I drilled and reinforced

If yes, 4 bolts in the 4 corners (not too close to the edges)? Did you then use i bolts to connect the sub belts?

I used everything I got from 992gnt actually. The plates look like a D ring and have a backing plate for underneath the car as well. You need to be careful when you drill as there are some lines you have to work between.
I've got some pics at home I'll try to post up tonight.
