Let's see YOUR track Evo
The lesson here is this...anytime youre driving down a straight that is long enough, especially if youre about to enter a corner like this (one that has some sort of barrier facing it or little runoff), you want to pump your brake pedal before your braking zone to make sure its alive and well. So while youre on the gas pedal, reach over with your left foot and pump your brake pedal before you reach your braking zone. This way if something has failed you have more time to react, which is to continue pumping your brake pedal. If you dont panic and remember to do this, your brakes will eventually engage enough to slow you down and bring you to a stop. If there is absolutely no chance your brakes are going to engage, with even the slightest amount, then at least you have more time to scrub off some speed. This way when something fails you dont end up going all-out into a corner thats going to put you straight into a wall that is no more than 30 yards off track. Unfortunately, some people either dont know this or they dont have the experience, so theyre not prepared when something like this happens. Instead, they panic and stand on a brake pedal that has dropped or is not responding in a way theyre used to, or they do something that makes things worse all because they unknowingly put themselves in a situation that could have been avoided.
I want to stress that please use some common sense when practicing this technique. So when you first start, practice at slower speeds, and be smooth so you dont upset your car. Remember, not all corners are connected with straights, so be extra careful especially if youre in some sort of sweeper. Also, be alert and aware of your surroundings, because there may be a faster car approaching that is being wheeled by a driver with less experience.
NO1 people, if you do crash on track , and no fire STAY in the car untill you know nothing coming or they secure the area!!! DO NOT everf jump out of the car like that guy did! Also if you know its an impact cross your hands to your shoulder EVERY time !
Very very dangerous what we saw here!
feel bad for the guy though.
( i would blow the engine or and tranny to stop the car, like shift back to third or second what ever. that is another way to try to prevent a total loss. If you know you do not have a brake, then nothing else left. E-brake will never slows you down at speed in short distance )

^--- Very important tip. Pumping the brakes is something every person considering the track should know. I really like your tip about testing the waters.
Left foot braking is a skill that is acquired. It takes some practice to be smooth with your left foot since it's use to the clutch. Start out slow and work from there.
OK, can we get the thread back on track? =)
well they will, but it has to be tethered metal to metal. i had my go pro center mounted on the roof in pre grid last time, and the official told me it was "track rules" no exterior cameras.
