Let's see YOUR track Evo
Here is my best lap from this past weekend at CMP with NASA-SE. Did well enough to get 3rd out of 8 cars in TT3 with a 1:46.27. Car is still too heavy and not at TT3 power to weight, so like the driver it is a work in progress.
And 'the kink' still spooks me.....

Thanks, still working on getting all my safety equipment.
I was being nice and not wanting to force anything. I let off a good deal before the kink as I didn't want to mess his lap up. It is a rather difficult place to pass safely though.
Alright there peanut gallery.

I love seeing all of these well built cars, it makes me happy. I am the only evo left racing in the Nasa Utah region at the moment
It would be great to travel to some of these other tracks and get time with you guys. Maybe one day!

Would love to see your car in person!
Great lap time at Road Atlanta Joe! So small world one of my Porsche customers here in Atlanta knows your father. Byron Pugh, 996TT. Does that ring a bell? Anyway, car looks great and I'm super bummed I missed all the action at GTA in Atlanta (out of town visiting family). I hope to have the car ready to join you guys next year!
Cheers,
Craig

My old man was just telling me about him; such a small world! LOL!
Hello all.
I bought my 2012 Evo X GSR new towards the end of 2012. It's my first Japanese car and up to the time I test drove it I thought all Asain cars were Camry type cars and they don't know performance. Once I drove the Evo everything changed. I had to have it and had to track it someday.
I did my first track day a few months ago at Big Willow and have since done 2 more there. Now I'm hooked. This car is my daily driver as well but my goal is to set it up for the track and live with it on the street.
I have added a lot of parts in this last few weeks so I'll try and list them. Engine is unchanged. I'm running E85 and about 397HP although I did recently order a MAP EF3 turbo and AMS DP.
I tracked with BC coils, Rear Sway, RCK, XXR wheels, Bride reps, Schroth Profi II 6 point harness, 4 point bolt in roll bar and stop tech pads.
Now for what I have added this last week
Drivetrain:
TWM steel shift cage
Works short shifter
AMS shift bushings
Competition Twin disk clutch (waiting for it to arrive)
All new solid Torque Solution trans and diff bushing
AMS engine bushings (bushings to be installed when clutch arrives)
Chassis
Ohlins coilovers 10k front 12k rear
Whiteline front sway bar (already had rear)
Whiteline control arm bushings.
Brakes
Girodisk two piece rotors in all four.
AMS steel braided lines
Raybestos ST43 pads on all four
Motul 600 brake fluid
Wheels & Tires
Advans RSII 18x10 25 offset
Yokahamas AD08r 18 265/35 15
Aero
Aeromotions rear wing
Forcewerks side splitters
Inside
Cobra Suzuka seats
Schroth 6 point Harness
Autopower roll bar
SRP pedals
Removed rear seat installed Beatrush divider
OMP steering wheel.
Just bought most if this stuff the last two weeks. Haven't had a chance to go to the track. As soon as the clutch, turbo and downpipe are installed I will be going. Hopefully by the middle to end of June.
Future mods include front aero, AIM Pista digital dash, switch to R compound once I get more practice on the street tires, track 2 to 4 times per month.
