HamFLeX TT-U/ Modified RTA build!
I can't believe you gave an abortion to a car you still owe money on....LOL that is fricken nuts!
I'm not so sure E85 would work out for me..... How many laps at BHFs do you think you would get on a tank???? Now calculate consumption with the FP RED!!!
I really do love my 110 leaded this year I've been running it 24/7. Does anyone know if the FP RED upgrade requires additional cooling?

Although at the Nationals this year Tage Evanson had some time trials insurance. He had it taken it out on his civic, said the car was worth $30k and then backed it up with parts and what not. Then is cost him $150 for a 5 day policy since that is how long nationals was. I am going to do the same but take out like a $75k policy!!!
Im not 100% on the cooling with the FP red, but i am pretty committed to the e85.
Especially if tracks start carrying it, Miller had it and at normal cost, like $2.35 a gallon! And I was paying like $8.55 a gallon for 101 octane...
All the doors are gutted now, still not 100% on the front passenger window in compliance with RTA. They say you need it but it is kind of dumb seeing has how it has to be rolled down to race and my cage is right there? I took everything out and have the window so if need be I am just going to wrap it in bubble wrap and set in between the door and panel
E85 is nice. The last couple times to the track I was finally running at pretty much wide open throttle the whole time. I can get two 20 min sessions in before needing to add fuel. If I go out the 3rd session I'll get fuel cut coming out of corners near the end of the session. I've been taking two 5 gallon cans with me. So a full tank on arrival and 10 gallons get me through a normal 4-5 session day. Just barely....

Anxiously awaiting the 2010 RTA Modified rules to be released, do not wanna go in any one direction before hand.....
i just switched over to e85 my car is set up more for drag but just daily driving i got 100 miles to a half tank without going into boost on my 37r. ill image for road racing it will bet much much less prepar to bring some gas with you ryan. but you cant beat the cooling properties and also it keeps your engine nice and clean (clears out carbon build up). good luck man next year sounds like its gonna be a blast.
I had it on the scales at nationals, I had yet to really pull weight in a hard core fasion. It weighed in at 3049 with me in it and a half tank of gas. I weigh 150 and what ever 8 gallons of fuel weighs... LOL
Back from the DEAD.....................................
hey everyone it is time to get back at this build!
The car will soon be heading to my buddy keith's shop, 7 motorsprts. He is so kindly letting me keep my evo there as I work at building my custom trunk mount wing, full aero kit including splitter, under body, and diffuser. I will also we building a one off custom wide body kit...
So far I have received a nice line up of parts from Mishimoto as they will help make sure the car stays nice and cool on the track! I am also awaiting a new ignition set up from Spark Tech, once again to help keep the evo running strong, fast, and reliable!
pictures coming soon!!
