This is why when building an Rally Car, the roll cage is the " Exo Skeleton " inside the car to protect the driver and co pilot at all cost. FIA WRC roll cage can cost a lot but it is well worth imo.

all the FIA rally cage are good. As long as you using the right material , and some one who actually know what his doing...
Because many people can weld... But to build the rally cage is a different story. Specially because its car model sensitive.
I love those helps when you ask for the rally cage , and the guy comes back:
" oh sure i build many cage before." And he shows me his collection. Alll mustangs and vettes etc for drag racing and auto X ...

The rally cage is a different story. In my mind at least

/which i know doesn't matter much for others/

i put this video up one of my friend asked me , what happens if someone crashes a front of you.
Well nothing exiting here just a procedure. And Of course it is counting in your race time. Like flat tire etc. This is another example of loosing time .
But who remembers after the race of these? LOL

So anyway here is one from Tennessee. Starts after 1.35 and sorry for the quality.

that was a blue sti front of me. The co-driver forgot to mention the right turn and when they realize it it was obviously too late. Miraculously the car flu over some stumps and other stuff and landed on the soft grass. Take them a while to get out , but the car had no damage. So the next stage they showed up.
It is very lucky since they actually jumped - flu and travel between bushes and trees and stump about a 100 feet LOL

thats all i know about this accident.
