new to the Evo X

hey all,
i'm in the process of selling my 04 STi and building up a 8 Evo x. i have read the problems with the .007 off pistons and weak rods. the car has a FP red and will be using either E85 (if i can get it) or VP racing MS109 so i'm hoping for 425+WHP.
how are the X's on oil and fuel starvation?
anything else really weak on the X's that i should change right away?
dose anyone move the diff pump from the rear to the front, or just leave it due to that cool new rear diff? also the diffs need any extra cooling?
cheers,
kyle

Shep isn't doing anything for the X yet except changing the final drive gear... which is unfortunate because I think the xfer case is likely going to be a weak spot.

i am not sure the diffs are the weak link, i would search for ryan gates and send him a PM, he has been tracking the X for a year solid and tore up the competition. he may have some good pointers

How many times have you changed the fluid in your X's diff/xfer case?

I've done it a few times now. Once you start putting pressure (launches, more power, new clutch, etc.) it's gonna give...
