Learning on 285 Hoosier A6's is going to lead to only 1 thing in my oppinion - rolling the car

I started auto-x-ing on 235 r-comps and it's fun. You get to know how much more grip R-Comps produce compared to road tires and when you go to an event, you're used to how the car works on r-comps...

I vote small r-comps, not street tires for learning.

 

i vote learning on a good street tire. You will learn how to be a better driver and go fast by having great lines. If you add rcomps after that you will be feared in your region.

 

I've only auto-x'd on R-Comps or R25 Hoosiers... I set FTD both times.
