Brembo Piston trashed.... Options?
Hey guys I cross posted this in the evo brake/tire forum as well. This is a track car and tend to like/agree with the "motorsport guys" knowledge more than the regular people on the board LOL.
So today I got around to replacing the seals on my Brembos. My right front is almost black no longer brown and upon pad inspection after last track event I noticed un-even wear on the pads. My only thought was a dragging piston. Upon inspection 2 of my pistons (outside passenger) have the teflon esc coating wearing off and very rough. This could be the issue I think. Anyone else seen to this problem?
I have never had any bias issues on track but the right caliper is def. getting worked more.
Can I get aftermarket pistons? (ie stainless etc)
Send them in to a company like Swain and have them coated?

I know your asking but pistons only but humor me...
I've been following some of your rebuild on your car and i know you spent a ton of cash getting the car put together, but if you got the money to spend, pick up a set of these AP Racing brakes they are the shiz
Pic of mine
Old ones (Shot)
It is quite and investment but one you will not have to make again, if this not an option there are many kits you can get to rebuild the calipers even send them back to Brembo, Also Girodisc sells parts to rebuild the stockers.
Here is the link to the thread on the forum if you haven't seen them already
