Thanks for the pics guys!
My shock builder isn't a fan of really long lines.. he thought I was kidding when I said that I figured I'd need about 6 ft. He also doesn't like the dry connects.

So.. looks like I'll be drilling me some holes.

I've ran the short and long hoses back to back with no appreciable or noticeable difference. What's his concern?

The lines expand under pressure.. the longer the line the more volume to expand into.
I don't think that a braided wrapped line expands that much (if at all).. BUT his experience trumps my 'armchair engineering.'

That makes sense. The AST lines are braided.
