The only shocks i know of that would be worthwhile would be Bilstein HDs (revalved preferably) or Ohlins fixed perch adjustable shocks. I don't know if AST ever made a fixed perch AS strut for EVO. The Ohlins are good, but 2x as much the Bilsteins.

Don't need to be "A stock" legal.. likely will run BSP or STU, but I am not going to drive coilovers every day of the summer.. so I need a shock that is designed for non-coilovers... Adjustable would be great... Was used to my revalved Koni's.. but looks like they don't make them for the Evo.

Well same advice then....the only (non height adjustable) shocks available are Bilstein HDs and Ohlins fixed perch....Ohlins are being discontinued but still available at the moment. Bilsteins are not damping adjustable, but the HDs are pretty good.

There are some coilovers available with good ride quality if that's your concern.

Are you familiar of any progress rate coilover? I wouldn't want a linear rate spring for daily driving, have done that plenty on other cars, and don't want to again.

I can't help you with setup for the X, but I can tell you not to order your class letters yet, because it looks like they're going to move all Evos to B Stock for 2010.

It will not change the setup or what's legal in the class, just who you're competing against.

The official 2010 rules are not out yet.

I am in the same boat as you. Looking for set up advice for the EVO X. I still have m ITR which is set up for DS, but I am looking to try the EVO at an occasional outings.

Might go BS if I keep the car stock, but STU looks real nice.

I havent figured out how much to modify the car as a daily driver and get it competitve for one of the classes.

ITR (Integra Type R, correct?)..ballah!!!! I have a 99 DB8 (4 door Inetgra GSR)which serves as my DD of sorts (its bone stock).

Hmm, B-stock, aye? Thats good to know. I remember reading that rules would be out this week a while ago. I think I will get bumped to STU by the mods I have on order which is the perrin inlet tube...oh well. Its all in fun.

RJones - What all did you do for stock-class - just filter, cat-back? Anything else you did specific wheel/tire wise? I know you are a VIII/IX, but some of this applies to both cars, perhaps?

Yup, Integra Type R, 300,000km on it and still going strong. Finished 4th at Nationals this year and I will keep the car as a dedicated DS autocrosser. The EVO is my new tack car, but something tells me that it will see autocross action too....

Any stock set info for an EVO X will help!

I had a drop in filter, cat-back, maxed camber in front, zero toe, and 275/40/17 v710s w/ stock sized wheels. Dampers were stock Bilsteins, nothing special.

Bilstein PSS9s actually ride better than a stock Evo GSR. This would be with the supplied springs that come with the coil-overs. I imagine that a stock MR would have the smoothest ride though. Maybe verify with Miles at GT Works.

Hey Guys!! i've been AutoXing for 3 seasons in my IX SE and finally got out of those street tires and got some slicks. Have yet to use them but i'm hoping for good things since i can exchange blows with a guy that gets mid pack at nationals in a S2K with slicks. I'd be happy with a second improvement over the Star Specs i was running.

Just wondering if there was going to be anyone In BS to join me at nationals this year...

Does anyone know the *SP class for the 2010 Ralliart?

Also, anyone know the weight of the ralliart (race weight, ie no spare, jack, 1/4 tank fuel, etc)

Can you Lancer know-it-alls weight in on a possible ESP(?) 2010 Ralliart. The motor doesn't seem to be a problem. Everything can pretty much be worked to evo spec except the turbo itself (i/c, fuel, ecu, intake, exh, boost control system). I wonder about weight, chassis geometry, gearing, tire clearance (allowed fender mods tho)
