Wilwood brakes for road course

I've been looking at brakes as the season is over. And found a wilwood kit that fits under 17" wheels, consumables are reasonable, with good pad selection as well.
Any one use this?

Car is mostly HPDE, looking to try some TT next season.

Have you found the OEM brakes not up to par, or are you just looking for something to change?

OE brakes have been good for the last few years. But the price of rubber parts, pads, rotors etc is getting old.
The prices of all the above in wilwood parts could easily justify the initial expense over a season and a half.

Pistons: 4 Rotor Diameter:12.19 Caliper Mount:Lug Wheel Diameter: 15 Flange: Axle Offset: 0
Isnt this a bit smaller rotor than the OE rotors?

Many guys have been using the AP Racing kit from Essex

Pads are MUCH cheaper, Four piston caliper, 325mm x 32mm, and saves 7lbs at each wheel.

The url wasn't properly encoded so the Evolution part was left off of his link. here's the correct link:

oem setup with brake duct has been working great for me for 50+ track days in two years. centric rotors from Rockauto are $90 shipped for two fronts. i use two sets a year. ST43 pads are decent for street tires and last pretty long. iv'e used a variety of pads for rcomp tires though.

nice thing about oem setup is that if i crack a rotor at the track, i can usually pick up a new rotor at local Autozone or Advanced

And, in a pinch, you can borrow spares from other fellow evo owners. That’s what I miss about running stock brakes. now I have to really make sure I have spares with.

I have the Superlite 6R Big Brake Front Brake Kit with 13" rotors and the Dynapro Radial Rear Brake Kit.

They are awesome. They came on my car. I havent gotten to take it out for a track day yet, but hopefully soon.

That always helps when there are people that share the same parts.
