NASA does run chicane but its a toss up. if it rains, they will most like wont run chicane. If its dry, they some time run chicane one day and not the other. I like the chicane because it adds another element to the track. When they have really fast cars on track, they use chicane so cars don't catch air at the crest after turn 3.

Weekend Recap -
Awesome weekend at NJMP, despite a couple set backs, haha!
Saturday started off terrible. First session out, the O2 housing decided to separate at the welds, on my second lap, leaving my downpipe free to bounce around. This caused a puncture in one of the IC piping couplers; luckily I was able to limp it back to the pits. Had the car torn down pretty quick, and desperately searched for someone with a welder at the track. Two hours later, an awesome dude named Mike, had the O2 housing all welded back together for me! Couldn't find anyone at the track with a spare reducer coupler, so we layered it with duct tape hoping it MIGHT hold 30+psi, LOL.
I had the car back together just in time for the last TT session, but was only able to best my first lap from the first session (1:31.5) by a tenth before the duct tape melted and blew apart. Saturday's best was a 1:31.4 (on NT01's) - good enough for 3rd in TT2. Total laps for Saturday - 3. LOL!
Managed to find a spare reducer coupler in my trailer, but a 1/2" too big on both ends. So I slid the damaged coupler inside the new coupler, and added an extra clamp. Gotta do what you gotta do, haha!
Sunday - Headed out for the practice session in the morning and didn't make it past part throttle at T2 before the coupler blew off and left me waiting for the wrecker to pull me off track. Sorry for the black flag guys! Back at the pits, I realized one of the clamps was loose. Tightened it up, and did a few short pulls (not telling where, LOL), and all was good!
TT Session 1 - The car felt great. Finally got some laps in to get my line down. Ran a best of 1:29.1 (on NT01's).
TT Session 2 - Tossed the R6's on for the first time of the weekend. Pressures were a little off, as I barely made it on time for this session, the rears only getting up to 32psi HOT. Some oversteeer, but the car felt great! Managed to run a 1:28.028 in traffic (see video). Unfortunately, this is the last session of videos that I have, as my GoPro died in staging for session 3.
TT Session 3 - Tire pressures were all good this time, and Scott Mandel and I were the only ones staged for the session - open track, woo! Ran 6 laps with my best being lap two - 1:26.190 (on R6's)!! Second fastest TT time of the weekend! This was good enough for 2nd place in TT2 behind Michael Fuchswanz ST2 Vette.
Overall, it ended up being an awesome weekend, and met a ton of awesome people at NASA! Can't wait for next season!
Huge thanks to Kaizen Tuning, Girodisc, Sparktech Ignitions, and Dhp Comp!

Pretty positive I'm all done for the season, with the exception of CTD towards the end of the month. So, it's time for winter plans!
Here's my V.1 & V.2 list.
V.1.0: Stick with Camo Wrap and keep all body panels the same as 2013.
- Lighten car as much as possible.
--- Gut trunk or CF trunk, CF hood, remove OEM Latches, Aerocatch hood/trunk pins
--- Polycarbonate Windshields/windows with NACA ducts
--- Light sheet metal door panels with door pull (adding weight but cleaning up interior)
- Brace wing
--- mini cage, or just support bars to wing mounts
- V.2 Splitter; same Aluminite design w/ducts, extend out longer, direct air around tires
- Flat Underbody - Aluminite with channels to direct airflow
- Rear Diffuser - Aluminite with channels
- E85 tune; 1050cc or 1200cc injectors w/ Aeromotive Stealth 340 pump
- Another set of RPF1's + Hoosier A6 + Hoosier Wets
V.2.0 - Dip car for Filthy Dips - New Front/Rear Bumper, Fenders, Over Fenders, Skirts
- Lighten car as much as possible.
--- Gut trunk or CF trunk, CF hood, remove OEM Latches, Aerocatch hood/trunk pins
--- Polycarbonate Windshields/windows with NACA ducts
--- Light sheet metal door panels with door pull (adding weight but cleaning up interior)

The plans are mostly the same, with the only change really being the body panels. My wrap and front bumper are REALLY beat up. The car could use a new look, but we'll see how funds work out.
I'll try to keep this thread updated as much as possible.

Kaizen decided to scrap this car, while I was in Japan and toss the shell in the dumpster - allowing their staff to pick 'n pull everything off the car (ohlins, everything).
Their LLC was liquidated and no sign of the owners anywhere.
I was left with nothing. All new motor, trans, TC, diff, body etc etc. Nothing was left.
I'm restarting with an R32 GTS-T as a new TT build..
