We run the Kelfords 272s. There is a cam thread around here that tested all sorts of cams and the Kelfords made the most power IIRC.

Wrong! The Tomei 280 made the most power by a fairly big margin. This is what i run but, i will attest to them having a terrible idle. Not for a street car!https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-cam-test.html

I highly recommend Kelford 272's

Site note, TT3 is brutal in my region. The top tt3 driver drives a vette and he is the fast overall through all classes.

Have you considered TTA?

280s are terrible choice for a road race application though. More lag, less torque, less drivability for a little more horse power for a class that has a very low power to weight anyway. We have TT3 cars only allowed 316whp due to weight and being mustang dyno. We can do that with stock cams and retain great drivability.

I agree that in TT3 Its probably fine to use just stock cams! He just stated that they made more power then anything else. Which, is not really needed in TT3 as you pointed out.

I also had a pretty good setup for TT3/S last year with Crower 272/264 combo. The car was a torque monster with low HP numbers. It made it a handful to drive like that tho.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll be trying to make the switch to E85 this weekend and see where that puts me. It'll be a bit to get to a dynojet so vd will have to do for now, the road I use is roughly 7hp lower than the dj I use.

Craig, I will let you know when I am down that way. Let me know when you plan to come to Greenville next and we'll get a couple cold ones.
