New owner - Roadcourse advice needed
Hey guys don't wanna hijack your thread here but I am new to track racing and would like to gt into it as a a new evo owner. Any advice as a good place to start? Would you guys mind a tag along at your events, being from south jersey it wouldn't be all that far for me and that NY safety track actually isn't too far from my vacation home lol
This is where I'd start, if I were you. NASA are great people. $50 is a bargain. http://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1682

Thanks for the info going to get signed up for that quickly, now I have to get some time after work to get out and get and helmet and get my boost gauge and wideband installed looks like a busy week for me.
If you have a stock car with stock tune, then don't worry about boost gauge and wideband yet. They also have loaner helmets there but if you're going to start tracking, then might was well get your own helmet.
The car isn't fully stock but I got the parts at a good price so I couldn't walk away from them, only basic bolt ons done right now. Besides this gives me an excuse to ignore my nagging family for a while so I can play with my car, what more could I ask for.
what Honda-guy is saying is that as long as your tune is safet then you don't need anything like that installed to enjoy your car on the track. Just sign up for DE1 and make sure your car is in good mechanical condition with fresh brake fluid, 50% or more brake pads and tires with 50% tread or more. That is all you need!
