We used the drop aluminum open ended lug nuts, and now the skunk2 cause my supplier doesn't sell em or drop stopped making them. Around 120/set

The skunk2 are identical to the drops. They are about 2lbs lighter then the stock set of lug nuts. With regular application of antiseize, we have never had a problem with them.

I see some that use a hex key though and not a socket.

I was searching on their site yesterday and didn't find them there either. I just did some more searching on Fleabay and found exactly what I got, even from the same seller, linked below. These are definitely not imitation McGard either-- I've called McGard about the set I have (to get a replacement key) and everything checked out, so I'm really not sure why these aren't on the McGard's site.

This set includes the locks (which is the image you posted and which I know you don't want), but I can't find a set of 4 of the same lugs to replace the locks. The locks may be annoying for regular on-and-off but they really don't take much more time.

Thanks for digging this up.

Looks like that kit comes with the exact same lug nuts as the ones I posted in the first post.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with the Buddy Club lug nuts?

They're forged steel, acorn seat and are fairly inexpensive.

after reading this thread, just wanted to point out that those^^ the buddy clubs are 26$ for 4 lugs. so they aren't that inexpensive. if you didn't notice that.

with that being said i am also interested to see anyone's experiences with them.

That was a complete reading comprehension fail. Thank you for pointing that out.

we've used the Muteki splined lug nuts on every car we've ever owned. this includes 550+whp civics to 400+whp Evos on street, strip, and track. never had any issues. i only use the steel ones and open-ended.

These are what I we have on the Evo X, and what Fall-Line recommended. No bling, just for racing purposes. We use their wheel studs as well.

Lug nuts
$3.99 per x 20 = $79.80

Studs
$10.79 per x 20 = $215.80

These are Fall-Line prices, you might be able to find them cheaper somewhere else.

Not sure about these folks, but they are advertising at $1.19 each
They are listed as a partner on MSI's website.
Make sure you get the correct size.

That site doesn't list Mitsubishi?

Though, so long as its M12x1.5 and the right head for the hub it should work.

They sure don't, but that's what we have. Those measurements came directly from the Invoice from the install at Fall-Line. I would suggest giving them a call. For the wheels studs we are using the ones listed under Subaru.
