AutoX class question
16.0.B. Classes
1. Street Modified (SM), a class for sedans/coupes as described below.
2. Super Street Modified (SSM), a class for two-seat cars and selected
sedans/coupes as described below.
3. Street Modified FWD (SMF), a class for front-wheel-drive cars.
I'm not saying it can't be done. But there is nothing in the rulebook that indicates it's ok for cars to intermingle in the SM category. I think the reason people have gotten away with it is...SM is a cool class with a no BS philosophy. And as long as competitors are ok with it, the national office isn't going to preemptively start DQing people. Protests are filed by the competitor. If all the H-street guys let a corvette in their class, more than likely no one would say anything.

Super Street Modified Class (SSM)
Eligible Vehicles:
All two-seat cars not excluded below.
All SM eligible sedans/coupes excluded from SM.
All SM eligible vehicles.
From the good book
did you not make it down to the next rule in the book?
16.0.C.2.b: SSM eligibility
All SM eligible sedans/coupes excluded from SM for failure to meet weight requirements.
So if you want to run your SM car at SSM min weight, have at it.
