2016 STU Discussion!
Yep, confirmed in the latest issue of Grassroots Motorsports in their street tire test. The revision was good for 0.5 second per lap faster at COTA in the One Lap CRX. Comments were that the revision improved the numb feeling of the 2015 tire.
Still no 265/35R18 though. The 255 is listed as 8.9" tread width on Tire Rack vs. the 9.6" of the 265 RE-71R, so that's probably not an option either.
Clutch on the new Z was slipping, they didn't have time to replace it between Pros.
Barbato was able to secure the co drive in the Evo. I haven't asked how well prepared Elam's car is yet. I know it has a tune, JRZs, and 265 RE71Rs.
Course was extremely favorable to cars that launch well. It was extraordinarily unbalanced and Barbato made the most of the opportunity.

Biggest news I saw - LSDs potentially in STS and STF??
Maybe now is the time to advocate 1 limited slip for AWD cars.. if people want this to happen, now is a good and bad time - good in that they are looking at the lsd rule, bad in that prosolo results have been showing awds doing well. I still say we go for it, and be fairly organized about it so we can get a good # of letters sent
