Does anyone know what two-piece rotors these are?

Hey guys, these are some low mileage front two-piece rotors that were on a show car. The prior owner of the car did not remember who the manufacturer of these rotors is.

There are no markings anywhere. After seeing them when they were still installed, someone said they looked like some old Endless rotors that he had special-ordered with red hats that worked with the factory Brembo calipers.. Apparently his Endless two-piece rotors had no markings either.

Does anyone have any ideas?

For what it's worth, everything on this car was name-brand stuff and there was not one knock-off part on the car. It also was an older build, probably 6-8 years old if I had to guess.

Thanks!

Not sure, but they're not a floating design. Just about pointless except the bit of weight savings.

I've been informed that they are older DBA rotors.

As for floating vs fixed, the advantage of less noise on a street car makes rotors like these make sense. For a track car, floating rotors are better.

Floating rotors don't make noise.

Admittedly I have not used floating rotors myself, however I have heard from some Porsche guys that they do make noise and therefore fixed rotors are preferable for street if noise bothers you. Perhaps it is different with different brands. Without a doubt, there are floating rotors that do make noise.

My Performance Friction 2-piece floating rotors made all sorts of noises. I hated those things.

I have yet to experience that, having had experience with OEM Brembo (Chevy, Ford, and Mitsubishi), Racing Brake, and Girodisc.

What sort of noises? I have PF 2-piece rotors and haven't noticed anything unusual.
