Here's a GREAT deal for some MCS doubles that are nearly new.

Awesome! Love the pic of both shocks side by side. It appears there are a plethora of good options between $2k-$5k. I currently have Robi’s KW street/track set up. I don’t ever adjust. Just leave where he set it. I definitely need to bump up to 12k springs from my current 9-10k. We will see.

I meed to to address my brake vacuum issue, possible better brakes, then suspension. Maybe I should start a “Go Fund Me” campaign.

Ohlins RT are very capable. I ran the first gen in my car and the latest version. Custom valved RT can be had for not much more than $2500. i was tempted to get TTX but the RT just felt so good already.

those inverted front strut with the large shaft is not really the shaft, it's actual the inverted shock body, the shaft is inside at the bottom.

getting triple adjust is not going to do much for you if you dont know how to set them up. if anything they can hurt your time. ive seen many get slower time switching from double to triple because they dont know how to adjust them.

I dont see how you can really adjust them without data even. Doubles you can kind of wrap your head around but youd have to have amazing feel to dial in triples

correct, you'd have be a shock engineer to get full use of the triples, and lots of data acquisition.

we did a quick test of that sachs a few days ago..
springs are close to OE MR stiffness... but the car sits very high as I did not have helper springs for the front and did not want to have loose springs on the struit.. Travel is huge..

what was surprising was the way the car drove... There was minimal body lean in corners, and the car changed direction very quickly.. But the real shock is on the rough tarmac... the car just sails over it.. it is incredible.. I guess you get what you pay for..
The thick struits are a bit of a problem to package and run with increased camber, but with wider lower arms and special top mounts, for more bump travel, it will be an interesting fast road/track setup..
