It isn't, tis why I'm selling em. There's a pic posted in one of those threads where I detailed the visual clearance, but I just dropped off the car so I can't confirm lol.

Too bad. I thought I read that the PF01s have decent brake clearance.

What wheels are you buying to replace them?

Sorry I'm on RPF1 not PF01 lol. Trying to go full 18x11 TC105's x3 sets.

Ugh. This just fell into my downpipe when I was trying to adjust my wastegate arm tension. Obviously, it was already broken. No wonder my BBK Full has been spooling like an FP Black. Is this at all common? Not sure if my turbine housing will be repairable. Going to pull it apart this weekend.

FP has the hotsides still, but you have to call. I think I paid around 300 for one.

I’m not sure if Blouch modifies the turbine housings for the BBK/1.0xt turbo, but when I started tearing into it, I found some oil in the intake tube and shaft play, so it might be time to get a new turbo anyway. I haven’t done any track events this year, so I think I can direct some of those savings to new upgrades and make lemonade from lemons 🙂

EDIT: I compared it to my near zero mile Evo8 stock turbo and I actually don’t think the up/down shaft play is more than my stocker (no thrust play at all), so hopefully salvageable. Going to check with Blouch.

My front left Brembo is leaking from the crossover tube at the bottom. Even worse, the leak lets tiny air bubbles back in to the system. I had to bleed the front left brake in between every session today.

Strange place to spring a leak. I guess it's another sign that I'm overdue for a brake upgrade anyway.

is there external damage on the crossover tube? Sometimes a rock can get between the rim and the caliper and goes right trough the crossover tube..

I'll look closely when I pull it off. Racing Brake offers replacement crossover tubes on Amazon for $50, so I'll swap it out next time I get a chance to work on the car.

The leak is at the flare nut on the outside half of the caliper.

I found one old thread from someone with the same problem: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...s-caliper.html

The leak was slow enough that I could get through 20 minute sessions with only mild squishiness. I had to bleed the brake in between each session, though. Not fun in 100 degree weather. Also, having brake issues really takes a toll on driving confidence. I was fairly sure it wasn't going to be a sudden catastrophic failure, but I much prefer being able to trust the brakes completely.

Came across a white Final Edition at auction today, rebuilt title from a total loss claim in FL. Looks like a front left impact as they did a sh*t job of bending the core supports and subframe back together. They're asking 8500k, but as a parts car option wonder if I could get it down to 2k lol. Watcha'll think

Tons of little issues, air back light is on, etc. Found out his ceiling is 13.9k...pass lol. Unless one of you wants a project car.

Picked up a RaceCapture PRO MK3.

Should I get the legacy OBDII adapter? Or just bite the bullet and start hardwiring all of the analog signals I want to log?

If I have enough free time (lol) it would be fun to make a DMA-to-CAN adapter that uses @jcsbanks 's DMA logging patch to log ECU data at a high rate. Maybe someday.
