Ok I ordered a Tomei adjustable cam gear, and I also see my MIVEC Advance Max is 28.8. I looked at my old old tunes and the max was 30. huh? so I will change that to 26.8 but what about the MIVEC map showing numbers higher than 26.8?
Anyway on the first time I got my car with the ER gear and SD tune my first reaction was I seemed to have lost that low end torque. I thought it was the SD tune and I was tempted to roll it back to MAF. Dyno did show some HP gains up top and I can feel a bit of rear tire slip mid range (highway bumps). I really miss that torque and now my car feels stockish coming out of corners. Is this inline to what you were saying earlier? Thanks

Is there an English version of this or any other alternative site? This is my first time and I'd like to try and do more shopping around. TIA NM I just learned to use Google Translate and that JDM headlights aren't a good option
My headlight got some weird brownish blemishes that cant be buffed. It seemed to be from a liquid. Can AC refrigerant or coolant do this?

anyone know of a good manufacturer that sells an 84mm intake pipe that fits the MAF?

edit: nvm, ETS will sell you a 3.25" coupler if you specify in the notes.

 

An easy fix is to throw them in the oven, take off lenses, swap USDM projectors in, and seal it back up. Time consuming process but straight forward and direct swap.

 

damn FP doesn't make one anymore! I run those same reducing couplers for my intake.

 

I have no patience for that. I have plenty of unpainted 3d prints waiting on me to figure things out.
I stupidly bought one of those modified tail lights before. it was at night. next morning i saw adhesives inside the lens so I just threw them away.

 

yea it's annoying but i didn't want their intake anyway (prefer metal for the body). got their 18psi wastegate actuator, but passed on the oil lines.

How difficult is it to swap in the rotating assembly for the turbo?
