To get 295 A7's on a 10" wheel I had to add 20mm of spacer in the rear to keep it off the shock on those +38 rpf's. This of course put a good 1.5" out of the fender. In order to go low enough in the rear it's just facts that we're gonna have to cut the thing.

Well that's more of a function of your particular shock then. I have to clear the spring on the Flags with the coaxial perch, but still the 295s fit on a 10.5 +38 wheel without spacers. I just had trailing arms for clearance and saw a bit of rubbing under load or OPR rubbing the fender well to the inside.

Well, here's one update about the Forgestar F14s in semi concave 18x10.5 with a 38 offset, the wheel/tire combo weighs 52lbs. Assuming the RE-71Rs really do weigh 27lbs for the 285/30/18s then that means these wheels weigh 25 lbs.

Uhhh

Well I guess I'm taking a 3lb penalty over the PF01s in this size for looks? I suppose I did say I was tired of RPF1s, and didn't want to pay 3k for wheels, so it is what it is. Just don't trust the old posted wheel weights from 10 years back, they chubbed these things up after that S2K incident.

Would be cool to find out what R/T Ernie's CCWs weigh at this same size. What does an extra $2,000 get you? Not sure yet.

I would suspect they are just slightly lighter than 25lbs since my 18x12 +32s are 25lbs. The super deep IIRC were 24 or 24.5lbs on Aaron Shoe's car in 18x12 +20 (I think).

Do worn out tires weigh less? A lot less? It's not an apples to apples comparison, but my old 18x9.5 +45 RPF1s with completely worn out and nearly bald Z2 Star Specs weigh 41lbs. That's a 10lbs difference compared to the new 10.5" wide 285 setup.

I might as well put the AC back in, cause I just got fat.
