best place to get new axles

Hey All,

Wheres best place to get a pair of rear axles?

I dont want anything fancy etc. I had some quoted from Ralliart here and they want moonbeams for them, Ive seen those ones on driveshaftshop.com but not convinced they are a good option either

DSS has their "stage 0" sorta OEM replacement fronts though they don't currently list an equivalent rear.

I have seen another vendor that has both front and rear at $200 per axle but I cant find them right now.

damn 200 per axle is cheap.

I considered possibly getting custom axles made up locally and fitting my cups to them.

yea i saw DSS do some ultra hardcore ones for the rear but i heard u need their hubs etc for them to work?

Also evolution racing spares in aussie do some 800hp rated ones but they also big money.

Ive never broken an axle or had any issues with axles n CV's so touch wood i only need stock level ones.

If you've never had an issue, why are you liking into replacements? Just to have spares?

I think he said hes getting rid of the AYC rear.

What about just picking up a set of used axles? Could always repack with fresh grease and new boots...

Ive been trying to find used axles for a while. They're not all that common anymore it seems.

Man you're still on the hunt for those. Time to get someone to make them like any other part in here such as pans etc, and then do a group buy.

yea converting to Non AYC. Axles seem to be the hardest thing to find haha.

I have been looking but only casually. i now have the diff casing so need to piece together the rest of the kit over the next month or so. If i have to ill just buy some of the uprated ones i guess haha
