Does it just have play in it or it will continue to lift the front more with more force applied? If it's the former maybe you could just account for that with extra AoA on your wing. If it's the latter someone needs to figure out a way to brace the trunk hinge in the closed position. Or deal with continuously changing AoA with speed.

Its just torque being applied down on the wing means the front edge of what its attached to is going to try twist in the opposite direction a la newtons laws.

We put a latch pin in the middle center and it works fine to hold it all down. just needs an attachment point really
