Adding Brake Presure Sensor
Adding Brake Presure Sensor
Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has added an AiM Brake pressure sensor. Mostly looking for location, pictures, and part numbers (if possible)
The whole brake fitting setup is a bit confusing and just looking for some help.
Thank you in advance.

If I were doing it, I would just T into a pressure source by the MC with this:
https://www.autosportlabs.com/produc...essure-sensor/
But I run race capture already so its easy to integrate.

I'm already running AiM. So their brake pressure sensor makes the most sense. It seems like the best placement is between the ABS module and the master, per the suggestions.
I spoke with Pegasus Auto Racing and I've already got the 37 degree flare tool. So I will be Teeing with that. I'll post pictures as it seems like not many are doing this. From my understanding brake pressures is very important to log.
Part list
2 - Steel Tube Nut, 3AN - 3235-03 STL
2 -Steel Tube Sleeve -
1 - 3AN Tee with 1/8 NPT Female Branch, Steel - 3209-02-03S
1 - Any 1/8 NPT pressure sensor that can read 2000 psi
1 - Hose clamp to secure

I thought about that and I don't think it's necessary. All you are looking for is how much initial pressure, maintained pressure, and how you taper off. Now if I had the ability to change brake balance, I would agree.
