2020 Super Lap Battle

Anyone planning on entering this years SLB next month at Buttonwillow? I'm signing up to run my EVO in enthusiast class. Looks like per the rules I'll only need to swap the stock front spindles and control arms back on.

Guessing P4S's are my best option for tires since they require 220 utqg or higher. I ran these on my Golf R at Laguna recently and was pretty surprised how well they did. Any other options out there to consider?

LOL..... You are not the only one to shed tears while discussing this tonight. Other option someone threw out was enter as is and get DQ but still get some track time

That's the part that always annoyed me about them. They can't control what power people are running so they limit parts they can see instead like suspension lol. Basackwards. Every event it comes down to who has the most horsepower with the best tires and doesn't break down.

That's why I was going to try for Enthusiast class. I wouldn't even be middle of the pack in Street Mod because I'm so underpowered compared to most. Hell, I see Street Mod guys putting down better times than Limited at most tracks. I decided I'm either entering with the S2000 in Limited or not entering at all given the amount of money and time it would cost to get the EVO ready for Enthusiast.
