Quick help: Rev hang after boost between gears

Clutch and trans installed. Around town, break in, car runs great. When getting into boost, car revs to redline between shifts. Settles down in gear like normal.

Curious if the new Exedy HD twin is that much lighter than the quarter master?

Rerouted throttle cable. Its fine.

Idle is fine.

Any thoughts? Looking at tune tables.

it used to be the issue with ICV tables in the map... For start you can try unplugging the ICV and then see if you still have throttle hang.. if it dissapears then it is a matter of ICV tables tune..

Thank you. I know we came across the ICV tables and made some adjustment. Rev hang is misleading. For me, it’s throttle stick or increased throttle between shifts.

The HOB switch also quit working. Had to replace that. All good.

Thanks for input.

Ya "rev hang" was a phenomenon on long straights coming into braking zones when we would go from that must boost to braking. For several little reasons it seemed that as soon as you transisition to braking the RPMs would hold flat rather then decreasing on vacuum. With your dry sump this shouldn't be anywhere close to the issue. The fact that the revs go full as if you had the throttle pressed all the way as soon as you press the clutch in is super odd. Almost like the throttle cable is getting snagged and with the clutch depress it's free to rev up.
