Interesting to see the heat color change in the cast S/S exh mani. To me it shows the heat at the head is fine!
Are bolts or studs+nuts used for the back two attachment points to the hotside?

I’m really liking that arctec mani. I bought a Driven Fab with dual WG a while back and barely used … wish I had seen these before that.

the video Rsmike posted us great! That’s a huge improvement in track time while dropping peak HP

I have the Evo X Artec manifold, and it is simply unmatched in quality.
Every single product they make seems to be a 10 out of 10

Its probably been posted somewhere but does anyone have a weight for the Artec manifold? We know the FP is heavier than stock, wondering if Artec is at least not heavier.

Artec's site doesn't have it listed but Plazmaman says it's 7 kg. I had no idea they also made a cast O2 housing for us, too bad it's a 3.5" v-band not a 3".

The X manifold is light. My Vband manifold is light. Like, I was surprised when I picked it up. Where we drilled it to weld on bungs for EGT and EMAP it's probably only 1/8 or 3/16 thick.

Artec makes the O2 to 3.5" V-band and it's on their website. I couldn't find the weight of the manifold on Artec's website so I went to Plazmaman's and found it. Plazmaman does not have the Artec O2 to 3.5" V-band on his site.

The ARTEC manifolds (I can speak to the X, as I've been running it) are made of 347 stainless steel. This is superior to say 310 which is used for the MAP EVO X manifold:

AISI 310 Stainless Steel vs. AISI 347 Stainless Steel :: MakeItFrom.com

Maximum mechanical temperature is of interest: 870 vs 1040 !!! (20% increase!)

By using a superior material, the walls can be thinner and thus the manifold lighter.

here is a pick of those two manifolds compared, from my build thread:

Well I didn't think that until you showed me the Evo 1-9 manifold!
These are again pics from my build thread:

I suspect the Artec is also much easier to install? There appears to be significantly more access to the two bolts closest to the motor on the manifold to turbo flange.
