ECR open track day April 4th

It looks like it moved.

For those not going on the Dinosaur Valley Cruise, this would be a fine way to spend the day

$150 (160 after tax) for a day at the track with instruction. Great deal!

Im trying to make the 12th to. Was hoping to make it out to MSR this weekend to mess around with the car. But I put it on a set of scales and man was it was off. Good news the car was lighter than I thought it was.

Hehehe, either. Normally when I go to Ennis, I trailer it...not because its a trailer queen. Last night I drove 150 miles to the Ricekiller meet, but since we will be pushing the car, a 150 mile in a tow-truck is not cheap!!!

Well if you have a trailer, then by all means trailer it in. I don't have a trailer or tow vehicle, so I just load up my car

If you do go to ECR, make sure your brakes are good. They WILL get tested coming down from 120+ to 30-40 to make an off camber left hand turn.

If you've never been out there before I would also turn the boost down a lot. You'll be fine with 20psi instead of 30. 400whp+ can be unmanagable for a car/driver not ready for it.

To prep the car make sure you have decent brake pads, fluids changed, etc.
For the driver, bring water, listen to the instructors, and don't overdrive the car.

For reference I drive my car there and back. The driving back being the important part. I run about 24psi and the car is still plenty fast.

As far as brake fluids? I run amsoil now, but ran Motul 600 previously.
