He is one of the three current Stigs, and the one that wrecked the Koniggsegg, according to someone else on the show. They rotate in for the filming of show, depending on their racing schedules. There have been other Stigs in the past, too. MS is not an "active" Stig.

"Who is the Stig?" is one of the worst kept secrets in Motorsports, but its apparently a big mystery to Top Gear viewers.

We've met one of the Stigs, nicest guy, and he was our guest at the annual PRI show last year (but not "in uniform"). We heard so many funny stories about Top Gear from him at dinner each night, it was big fun. We promised to keep a lid on it publicly, of course, but its not that big of a secret.

 

I honestly don't really care who it is. They all can drive the wheels off a car.
