looking for an evo near the dfw metroplex

I'm going to be there the first week of nov(for an MFI mitsu class) and I want to buy another evo. I bought a silver IX se from Don Herring new, and sold it a few years ago with about 8k miles on it. I wish I hadn't.
I'm looking to spend 20k or less. if it's a IX I can do about 20 even, and as it gets older the amount goes down. Due to the bluebook value, an 03 is almost out of the question.

What al is out there. I have found at the one with the 66mm bb turbo and the silver 04 with bolt ons on craigs list, any more there?

There not much in the dfw area as I am looking for one also. Like the OP stated 03's are out of the since there to old and banks won't finance them.

Search autotrader and when searching craiglist type Mitsubishi lancer. There's a few. I found a silver one 05 with 43k miles, there askin 21,997 but I
personally don't think it's worth that. Has a few dents and dings in it and paint chiping here and there. Steering wheel is also worn out a bit. Other then that it's all stock. Has a catback exhaust and works wheels.

I'm now tempted to just go out of state to pick one up.

The problem here is the same with all 03s. financing. a bank will give out about 12,800 for that car. if you have a relatinshio with your bank then you can get 120-125% over that, you're still at 15700 and that has to include taxes. With me rolling my dirtbike into the financing, I'm still only just in the range of what he wants, and not all the way there. And I don't know if I want to add my dirtbike into the financing. I just paid it off friday!!!

I still think it will be too much. I can get what I need financing wise for an 06, but I'm more payment shopping right now.

I would ask you what you want for it but I want a as close to stock as possible evo. That and the financing issue with 03 also. As I am in the market for an evo.
